Under the severe use of high-tuned engine, the stock cam chain tensioner will be deformed and it will cause unexpected trouble.
The SPL cam chain tensioner is made of machined aluminum for increased strength.
In addition, the tensioner pushrod contact surface has been widened and the tensioner cap made of engineering plastic material has been adopted to prevent deformation and trouble.
・The tensioner roller can be replaced
By modifying the mounting structure of the tensioner roller, which cannot be replaced in the standard model, it is now possible to replace it periodically.
・Increased slipper surface width
The slipper surface that contacts the push rod head is wider than the stock surface to prevent the push rod head from sinking.
