[What is an EL meter?]
E.L (electroluminescence) display, a substance that emits light when voltage is applied, is applied to a meter and made into a sheet.
Since E.L sheet can be made ultra-thin (approx. 0.2mm), it is designed to be pasted on the stock meter for cars and motorcycles, and to emit light electrically.
The EL meter provides high luminance at low voltage, and the entire panel emits light evenly because it shines on a surface rather than a point.
Especially the vivid lighting at night will make your night touring more enjoyable.

*The two-color switchable type may be difficult to recognize due to the small color change depending on the panel style.*Please do not expose the EL meter to direct sunlight after installation, as it is sensitive to ultraviolet rays.
*Exposure to ultraviolet rays can cause discoloration and deformation of the surface and affect the service life.
*The lifespan of ODAX EL meter panel is approximately 2000-2500h (hrs), depending on the usage.Instead of snapping off at the end, the light intensity usually decreases gradually.Therefore, the time of use is the most important guideline, and the life span in years cannot be said in general because it varies greatly from person to person.In addition, since the panel is always on in the case of a motorcycle with an always-on light system, it is undeniable that the conditions of use will be worse than those for automobiles.
*EL meter is vulnerable to UV light.This is one of the reasons why the development of naked bikes in particular was delayed.UV coating is applied to ensure the durability, but it is still not a perfect protection.Therefore, it is advisable to avoid direct exposure to ultraviolet rays while parking.Understanding the features of the product and preventing problems before they occur is the best way to maintain a long relationship with your custom parts.
