TT stands for Twin-Tube.It is designed like a water-cooled engine with a water jacket on the outside of the cylinder.In the case of the TTX36, the damping force generating mechanism is built into the cylinder head and the reservoir tank mount.
It should be noted that this damping force generation mechanism is the damping force adjustment itself, and this single point controls the entire damping force generation mechanism.In other words, the main piston is a solid shape with no orifice or shim, and is a piston in the true sense of the word, existing only to push oil out and pull it back in.oil passage or needle does not need to be fitted with the inner part of the piston rod, so it is smaller in diameter and lighter in weight.
There is no bleed valve or base valve in the oil passage in the cylinder, and the structure is very simple.
