Features of the green plug
The core electrode is grooved at a 90° angle, making it easier for sparks to fly.
Since the spark is generated at the periphery of the center electrode, the flame extinguishing effect of the electrode is reduced and the ignitability is improved.
For this reason, the plug is effective during starting, idling, and acceleration.
Features of the resister plug
In order to suppress the ignition noise generated at the time of sparking, a ceramic resistor body is built in.
The built-in ceramic resistor suppresses the ignition noise generated by the spark.
This prevents radio noise from entering bike radios, mobile hams, and bike telephones. It also prevents the engine control computer from malfunctioning due to noise.
The effect differs depending on the bike.
The shape of the plug terminal is shown below.
Please select the correct terminal shape for the engine and plug cord.
There are three types of plug terminal shapes: integrated type, separate type, screw type, and punch and caulk type.
The "integrated" and "punch-caulk" types are mainly used for automobiles, and the "screw" type for motorcycles.
The terminal part of the "separate type" plug can be removed, but the terminal part of the "integrated type" and "punch-and-caulk type" plugs cannot be removed. If you try to remove it forcibly, the terminal part may break.
If you want to use the "separate type" as the "screw type", remove the terminal nut.
When using the plug with the terminal nut attached, make sure it is not loose, and if it is, tighten it lightly with pliers.
Features of NGK plugs
- Super "wide range" plug.
The center electrode has a "copper cored" structure in which copper is sealed up to near the tip so that a large amount of heat can be released quickly.
As a result, a super "wide range" plug that is resistant to both burning and smoldering has been realized.

During parking, high voltage is constantly applied between the terminal and the main body fitting.

In order to prevent flashover, insulator corrugations (folds) are provided to increase the insulator surface distance between the terminal and the main fitting to ensure insulation and prevent flashover.
