Description
It is a strong view of MICHELIN Bibb Mousse, a punk measure against off-road riding!
It is MICHELIN Bib Mousse developed for Rally Raid, Enduro, and Cross.
The following are notes on using well.
MICHELIN Bib Mousse is very light and characterized as lighter than reinforced inner tubes.
It overcomes the drawbacks associated with punctures while achieving a pressure equivalent to 90kpa air pressure.
It's ideal for off-road leisure rides MICHELIN Bib Mousse should be used in combination with MICHELIN original tires.
The max speed at which tires can be driven using MICHELIN Bibb Mousse is 130km/h.
Please note that Bib Mousse cannot be driven on a general road because it has an NHS mark (unavailable for public roads).
Before high-speed riding, it is recommended to drive at a moderate speed and to warm MICHELIN tires such as bib mousse to a suitable temperature.
Whether new or used, we recommend the use of MICHELIN's special gel when attaching MICHELIN Bib Mousse to tires.
It prevents the product from reaching higher temperatures than necessary and has the effect of lasting longer.
Air Pressure]
In order to take advantage of the tire's excellent athletic performance, it is important to protect the air pressure set by the vehicle manufacturer.
It is recommended to check the air pressure before running.
When checking the air pressure while riding, be aware that it is the air pressure of the "Hot Tire".
During riding, the tire pressure increases.
This is why you should not remove the air immediately after riding.
If the tire pressure is lower than the specified value, adjust the air pressure immediately while the tire is cold.
After filling the air, tighten the bubble core and make sure to close the bubble cap to prevent air leakage.
Bubble caps are an important part to prevent air leaks.
It is recommended to change the tire every time it is cleaned.
[Trial Tips]
It is very difficult to mount on the trial rear wheel by design.
There is also a possibility that the bead may be damaged at the time of installation.
Use the rim hook carefully, following the installation instructions (lubricate and support the bead in the reverse direction on the inside of the rim. Be careful not to apply excessive force to the bead wire).
When filling with air, install a rubber ring between the bead and the rim, or fix it with a strap from the top of the tread so that air pressure is injected properly.
[Consumption of Tires]
The groove of the tire plays a role to guarantee the adhesion of the tire to the road surface.
As you drive, the grip on the tires decreases.
Check regularly for tire grooves.
Check the depth of the groove and see if there is any damage.
Improper air pressure can also cause tire wear.
There are two types of tires that have the same size.
Previous display method: Enduro, Desert, S12
Current display method: The StarCross, AC 10, Trial Light, Xlight
Enduro, Desert, S12XC, and M12XC series designations are based on the tire width at the tread location.
The StarCross, AC 10, Trial Light, and Xlight designations are based on the tire width at the sidewall location.
The previous 13/70-19 Cross Competition S12XC is the same model as the current 110/90-19 StarCross 5.
