Improved serviceability
OEMs can replace the 2-parts configuration of the Hexagon Bolt Pin+Minus screw blind with a single 8mm bolt.
The 8mm bolt is also used frequently for maintenance around the brake area, so the assortment of tools can reduce the man-hours required for the work.
In addition, the OEMs were concerned that the outer screw would burn even if Thread compound was used, and the use of a slotted screwdriver would cause the screw to lick every time it was removed, but due to the characteristics of the screw, the possibility of this happening is relatively low. 。
(We still recommend the use of CopperGrease on threads, as seizure itself will occur.)
Replacing one Brake pin will not make you run faster or ride easier, but it will reduce the burden of maintenance.

Pin is too long for early BAJA and hits Spoke.
I thought it was a cheap Front and Rear Set and installed it on my early BAJA, trusting the fitment guarantee, but it was too long in both directions compared to the front and rear pins, and it hit the Spoke too hard to use. It was a very expensive purchase. I will never buy again. View detail

better than factory
The brake pin looked like oem quality and fit inside the caliper perfectly. DRC products are really good, a little bit expensive. I prefer hex head instead of allen. Especially when allen tend to take over a bit after a while.Had to drill my oem ones out because they seized in my calipers and the Allen heads stripped out. Got these to replace them. The fitment was great and installation was easy. I've run them for about six rides so far and haven't seen any problems.Overall perfect fit. It looks very solid and high quality. Shipping is very fast, very well packaged. arrived in 1 week View detail

klx250Brake pin replacement
I had no problems, but since it is an old car, I replaced the brake pin to prevent it from sticking due to rust, and since it is integrated with the cap of the blind, I don't have to worry about losing it. View detail

The OEM was corroded.
I bought it because it seems to be resistant to corrosion.
The original was corroded and was replaced while BrakeOverhaul.

Higher quality than OEM
I bought it because the OEM came out with Stages.
It looks polished and has a high quality feel, and it is stainless steel, so I expect it to be rustproof and durable.
The smooth surface may also improve Pad movement.

Replace while worn out
When I did the Pad replacement, I saw that the Pin was stepped and worn.
The minus on the cap of the pin was so hard that it was about to break, and I had to tighten it loosely, but if I licked it, there would be no next time.
The front brake is a replacement for another vehicle, so I decided to use the one from WR250X, considering the length of the kit.
I changed the tooling from Hexagonal to 8mm Socket and got it installed. Now I'm free from Cap worries.
I'm also worried about electrical corrosion caused by the potential difference between the aluminum caliper and the stainless pin.

Parts to be replaced occasionally
These are the parts that need to be replaced from time to time because of the decrease in the number of steps. The head is 8mm in the hexagon.
You can remove it with TWrench, so it's easy to maintain.

Maintenance will be easy
I changed a lot of parts along with the brakeOH
The original Pin was textured with rust
This will make Maintenance a breeze
One thing I was worried about, though, is that
I was wondering if I could use Socket wrench, but it was no problem
However, I don't know if it is 3/8 because the outer diameter of the Socket is thicker when the angle of insertion is 1/4 It is not

Pad replacement
I changed it while changing the Pad of WR250X
Unlike OEMs, Material:Stainless Steel, rust-resistant, slotted screwdriver for replacement You will be able to avoid using
I can't think of any other Merit than this one, but the sound of Stainless Steel and the bonsai Greed is satisfied

With Pad exchange
Removed OEM RetainerBolt, although there is no step, but rust and dirt are conspicuous, I think that I can reuse it if I polish But dare to exchange it to DRC.
Easy to install, just remove and replace.
DRC's Bolt is saying Stainless, I think that it is hard to rust so I will use only Grease out and use it.

Whether you do your own maintenance or leave it to the shop
After buying a used WR250X, I installed it to fit a full overhaul around Brake It was
If you are an OEM, you can use a slotted screwdriver before accessing the pin It is necessary to remove PinPlug, but this was stuck and it took quite a lot of time
Slotted screwdriver and M8 for OEM (I wonder if it was?) You'll be able to work with just the M8's Socket where you need the Hex of Maintenance is significantly improved
I'm glad to see the M8 used in various parts of WR
And if you don't do much maintenance, you can leave it alone and it won't rust easily I can recommend it in the sense (Of course, you should at least check it out once a year or so.)

I have my own Motorcycle this each time.
I think that it's worth it just getting better without removing the OEM's Minus screw.
I am using Stainless Steel every time for various car models thinking that it is also strong against rust.

Pin for rear wheel is too long
I used it for the compatible model but the length of Pin for the rear wheel Caliper is long and it seems to interfere with Spoke.
Another Size of the other company's Motorcycle matched it, so I used it for the rear wheel Caliper. As long as compatible models are written, I'd like them to be aligned accordingly.

Rear needs some processing
DR-Z400SM (07 year) Was attached to,
Front can be exchanged directly from OEM.
For Rear, OEMSpec. As it is,
Part of the Brake Body side that receives the end of the brake pin is tapered,
Corresponding part (Arrow part of attached image) Drilletc. It must be extended with.
5 for machining. I used a 5 mm Drill bit,
I do not have Wobble and so I think that this is the appropriate Size.
Only rear. Excluding that processing is necessary,
Accuracy etc. Very well,
Although it is not certain whether this Brake pin is effective,
Brake Pads exchanged at the same time did not squeal without chamfering.
(Because it was always singing unless chamfered before)

OEM Screw will become unnecessary and rust will be less likely to occur so it will be extremely helpful. It is easy to maintain.
The price is also cheap, so buy and there is no loss.

I exchanged OEM because it rusted
I replaced it because the OEM was rusty.
The OEM removes the Blind lid and removes the Pin in it at Hexagonal Wrench.
This product is only Double-end Wrench and can be easily replaced.

I bought it because the OEM was rusty.
- I bought it to prevent wear and drag of Brake Pads.
- It looks good with Polished.
- Brake performance does not rise, but I think whether performance can be maintained by not being rusted.

To LEAD 100.
Although LEAD 100 was not written in conformity, ordering by measuring the length. It fits perfectly. I had licked Hexagonal's Screw, but if this was the case I thought that it would be possible to get Screw licked and exchanged. Since there are many Length, I think that it is good to be able to use it for other car models.
Off You can use it other than cars!

Rust out than OEM
Race came out with stages with OEM 's Brake pin. I thought about exchanging with OEM Parts Number, but the price did not change so much, I made it here.
When replacing Pad, Slotted screwdriver is unnecessary and there is also Merit which can exchange quickly and there is also good.
I am satisfied although it is unknown whether Brake will work better or Touch will improve.
