That's still hard.
The hardest Spring was hard to push up from the road surface, so I changed to the softest one, but even with the Oil set to Light, the push up from the road surface was quite strong. When I push and pull at a stop, it is very mild and good feeling, but when I go over a slightly large gap, it is very, very hard. View detail

Why did you choose this product?
Because the OEMFront fork on the Grom was soft. I read in other articles that changing the fork oil would not make much difference, so I decided to replace the springs as well. I chose KITACO's spring because it had the best reputation.
Was the one you received as per Image?
It was just like the image, with color, so it was easy to see the top and bottom.
Was it difficult to install?
The front fork of the grom must be overhauled. It is really a large preparation because you have to use special tools and hexagonal sizes that you don't usually use, and you have to heat the burner to loosen the screw locks and remove the parts, which is a strange way to disassemble a fork that is not usually done on a motorcycle. Please be careful when you remove the bottom of the Fork.
How was your experience with it?
When I actually used them, I could tell that they had become firmer. When I applied the front brake on a mountain pass, the front did not sink unnecessarily and I was able to make a stable turn. Also, I was worried about the bottom because it had been set to full bottom, but the bottom was so low that it did not seem to be so.
[Included Parts:were they on?
The Seal system was included, which was great for me because I had forgotten about it.
[Was there anything that disappointed you?
It's not in the product, but the installation is too Large weird and I won't do it again myself. I will never do it by myself. I recommend you to ask a store.

Spring is the best cosmetics shop in Japan!
[How is it used?
Changed from OEMSpring due to severe NoseDive during Breaking at Circuit.
Was the one you received as per Image?
Street Image
Was the installation difficult?
To say the least, it is very challenging, and I highly recommend that two or more people work on it.
To remove the spring, it is necessary to remove the inner tube, but a special tool is required.
There is also a mysterious process of searing Fork Boots with Gas Burner, and you need to be careful not to melt them.
But there is a lot of information available on the Net, so we can manage.
How was your experience with it?
It turned out to be a great Fee Ring.
Fork oil was also changed to KYB#30 from KITACORecommendation, and the suspension became stiffer like SS to withstand use in Circuit.
The driving experience is drastically changed.
[Included Parts:were they on?
Instruction Manual was included.
The Instruction Manual was very detailed, and I felt that KITACO is very careful.
[Was there anything that disappointed you?
None

Rider's weight is just under 50kg, but I felt 6.0N/m was just right. (This is my personal opinion.)

Front Fork Springs from Kitaco
* About quality and texture, The Kitaco front fork springs are available in 4 different hardnesses which is helpful as it caters to everyones needs. Steel springs with colour coded marking to reference the 4 different options. * About the feeling of use, Once installed the feel while riding around town and on the open road is much improved, especially under hard braking. * Products to buy together, You will now also be wanting to do something about the rear shock absorbers. Kitaco offer a introductory level option and a premium option made in development with Gears. * Difficulty of installation, The installation is challenging and does require special tooling for working with this design front fork. The process was completed in 120 minutes with some difficultly. * Cost performance and comparison with other products, The Kitaco front fork springs are by far the best value option available. If you are just looking to upgrade the springs only then don't look elsewhere. * About shipping and packaging, I am happy to wait 6 weeks on average for my parts to arrive in Sydney Australia via Webike's sea freight which comes with tracking and insurance so I know I'm covered in case something was to go wrong but with there outstanding bubble wrapping and boxing there have been no problems. * Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing, Take your time to research which spring hardness is best for your weight and riding style. Use the product reviews to assist in making a decision on your purchase. View detail

Balance with Rear suspension
I think it is necessary to improve the balance with the rear suspension.
When I replaced the rear suspension, the softness of the front fork stood out, so I put in a KYB 20, but now I put in a 6.0N and it is more stable and balanced.

Front Fork Spring
About quality and texture - Excellent quality, nice to have the O-rings included. About the feeling of use - So much better now, the front end no longer dives on regular braking. Products to buy together - A set of rear shocks are now required to complement this front fork spring upgrade. Difficulty of installation - This is a hard installation which takes time, you will also be needing a heat gun and Kitaco's special tool product # 674-1432500. Cost performance and comparison with other products - Great price for the springs but then the additional tool required makes it expensive. About shipping and packaging - Shipping was slow but as expected since I went with the cheaper by sea freight option. Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing - Take note that the lower fork legs unscrews clockwise and I used 10w fork oil with my setup. View detail

Kitaco Grom Fork Springs
The springs fitted correctly & are much better than the soft OEM springs. They feel firmer & you don't get the bike wanted to dive on hard braking. Fitment was easy enough but you will need a way of holding the fork tubes during the swap over & a way of heating the bottom of the fork leg. I used a heat gun & worked very easy. View detail

OEM fork springs are just too soft
The OEM fork springs for my Honda Monkey 125 are just too soft. It is nice that Kitaco offer these upgraded fork springs in four different ratings to suit everyone needs and at a fantastic price. After some research I decided to go with the type 6.0N for my weight 75 kilograms which is a little on the stiffer side but what I like. The maintenance job to change the fork springs is difficult and required special tooling which Kitaco produce and is available from Webike. I am now very happy with how the motorcycle handles on the road. View detail

For those unhappy with Front.
Changed from Grom's Normal spring.
Special Tooletc., required for exchange.
After replacing it, I found it easier to enter the Corner.
The biggest difference is the stability in the middle of the corner and before the full bank.
Normal spring is DoubleRate and KITACO is SingleRate.
This is the difference.
Also, the number of rolls and the length of the rolls make a difference in each company.
Quantity:At this price for 2pc, it's worth a try.
As a precaution, Spring's Paint is prone to falling off, so I fill in the values in Fork outer.

Is MediumOil the best for Normal Spring?
I weigh 85kg and am a heavyweight. At this weight, according to Kitako data, the springs are 6N or more, even the springs in the Orleans cartridge kit " 6.0N" specified for weight 80kg and above. I purchased the Spring 5.5N and K-OIL Medium. . As a result. 5.5N&K-OIL software. That's enough. I went out of my way to make the oil a hard medium, but it is too much of a change from stock. It is so with my weight, so if you are a rider in the 70kg range or less, I think it is too hard. Even if you are a rider who flies, Monkey 125, you should have a certain amount of comfort. If that's the case, you should use 5.5N springs and soft OIL. Or maybe stock springs and medium oil would be fine. I've heard a lot about 75mm oil level adjustment, but I think 80mm would be better for the initial stroke! (In my case, I adapted it to 70-75mm to account for my weight.)
" early sinks move well, sticking in the back, keeping the Rebound supple, not tiring on long touring, but not uprooting at the bottom of the pass" and aiming for a suspension full of contradictions! (Lol) For now, I'm going to ride it as it is, but it seems too hard, I'm going to make the Oil Soft and the Oil surface 80mm. "Anyway, if you choose hard oil and Spring rate, please be careful because NORMAL is soft.

Kitaco 6.5N Front Fork Springs give correct suspension sag.
Stiffer fork springs were necessary to obtain correct suspension sag for my (75kg) weight on my GROM. I chose the 6.5N type option and this gave ideal static and race sage for my weight. Best of all, no more bottoming out on nearly every bump like just entering a driveway or when stopping quickly. Fitting requires special tools and took me a few hours. The fitting instructions recommend using a gas torch to denature the stanchions thread locking product but I found a electric heat gun can attain a high enough temperature to achieve the same result. As usual the Kitaco Front fork spring kit was comprehensive (including a Kitaco decal would be nice). I noticed that the Kitaco 6.5N type springs were shorter (free length) than the STD. Grom springs and wound from thicker stock than the OEM. spring as would be expected. I recon stiffer front fork springs are a MUST for most grom riders, here in Australia. View detail

Huge improvement over stock springs
I purchased the 5.5N springs. Huge improvement! The bouncy response of the stock setup is gone. And even under very hard braking, the front no longer dives and bottoms out. There is much better feedback and confidence in the corners. This is one of the most important safety upgrades that should be done on the Grom/MSX125. It is also one of the best values out there. If you don't want to pay the high-cost of a full valve/spring replacement kit, this is a very decent, affordable option. View detail
