It is made in Taiwan.
I bought this because my KSR2 OEMHorn stopped sounding.
You can buy a new one for the same price as OEM used one or less, so I think the cost is very high.
There is Horn made by other companies in the same price range, but I chose DAYTONABrand of safety and trust because it is the one which cannot be disassembled and repaired basically when the inside breaks down like this time.
The Package includes MADE IN TAIWAN and I personally trust them more than products made in China or other Southeast Asia countries.
The material is iron, but the surface is coated with thick plating.
KSR Horn is DC, so I could use it normally.
I think it is seldom, but I haven't confirmed whether it sounds when Horn is AC.
There is a nave screw for the adjustment of the example on the reverse side, but it is not written in the instruction manual. Don't spin it, it'll break. It is stated that
At any rate, there was no problem in the use with the sound quality as it was without touching anything.
It is unconfirmed whether it is possible to adjust it by turning Screw when it stops sounding due to aging or whether it is really damaged if you turn Screw.
In the case of the KSR, remove the 2nd oil tank and work on it.
However, if you remove only one of the two screws from the oil tank, the other screw hole will be overloaded and may break.
By the way, OEM new products of Oil tank have been discontinued.
The OEM bracket has a rubber damper to prevent vibration, but the screw length of HornBody is too short to use it.
If the neck is long, it may become severe in terms of space depending on the type of car, but even the Spring washer of the loosening stopper was difficult to insert, so I thought I would like to set the screw longer by 5-10?
In the meantime, I'm tightening it up.
We have already installed the countermeasure regulator on our KSR, but we were able to install it without any problem.
As for the Nut of Reverse side, there was Space that tightened without a problem with the Twrench of normal Size by removing the Shroud of Right Side.
Because of its location, it is exposed to rain and mud, so I cleaned the terminals well and applied Contact Grease before installing.
The sound quality is larger and thicker than OEM Horn, and it became about a light car.
Horn, which is seldom used but is quite impatient when it doesn't ring at the time of need, can be firmly claimed, and I am satisfied.
