There are not many varieties.
Rear sprocket was replaced because it was rusted and still wanted to swing to the high speed side.
Since PRO's Sprocket seems to be special, NORMALCUB's Sprocket cannot be installed, so this is installed.
It is close to NORMAL but a little on the fast side.
I am comfortable with KITACORear sprocket, which I use all the time.

For the final taste after bore up.
I replaced the Sprocket (Front and Rear) while converting to 88cc this time.
Why change Sprocket?
If you Bore up like I did, you will get more Torque and output than 50 OEM.
Therefore, it is necessary to change the OEM Sprocket setting to release the Engine Power more efficiently. If the clothes are too tight, they will tear, right?
So how can we transmit Power efficiently?
GEAR ratio needs to be changed.
The GEAR ratio is the so-called secondary reduction ratio, which is calculated by “Rear Sprocket Ding Number ÷ Front Sprocket Ding Number ”.
In other words, “how many revolutions of the Front sprocket are required to make one revolution of the Rear Sprocket”.
What are the effects or changes that would occur if the Sprocket is changed or replaced?

● Increase = higher top speed, lower acceleration, lower rpm when cruising, better fuel economy.
● Reduce = no increase in top speed, better acceleration, higher rpm when cruising, and lower fuel economy.
Rear sprocket
Increasing the number of rpm = no increase in maximum speed, better acceleration, higher rpm when cruising, and lower fuel economy.
● Reduce = Increased maximum speed, reduced acceleration, lower rpm when cruising, and better fuel economy.
The effect is reversed for the front and rear Sprocket.
You can replace either the front or rear, but since 1T on the front is equivalent to 3T on the rear, you may be able to save money by replacing the front if you want to change to a larger size.
I use Rear for fine tuning. 。 When the rear is large, it may get caught on bumps,
If the Front is small, the Chain will cut down the Arm, and if it is large, it will hit the Case.
The Front side may be changed by one or two fingers. After that, adjustment is made on the Rear side.
I purchased the CUB for CUB PRESS, which seemed to be expected to be durable, and replaced it this time.

CUB PRESS→ Newspaper delivery. Since it runs with a lot of newspapers loaded, a more durable Sprocket is used than NORMALCUB.

Chose 14 front and 40 rear for balance between acceleration and maximum speed. It is easy to ride.

Better Suited Black Finished 420 Rear Sprocket for the Grom
About quality and texture: I am happy with the quality of the rear sprocket from Kitaco. The 34 tooth 420 pitch rear sprocket is manufactured from chrome moly high tensile steel and finished with black paint. About the feeling of use: The main reason I removed the OEM Honda rear sprocket was to rid myself of the silver finish for the better suited black finished rear sprocket from Kitaco to blend in with the black hub and black rim. Products to buy together: Some black axle spacing collars from Kitaco would also be desirable to purchase alongside the rear sprocket for even more black on black. Difficulty of installation: The process to install takes about 30 minutes. Lift and support the rear of the Grom however you can and remove the rear wheel from the swingarm. Loosen the four nuts that secure the OEM Honda rear sprocket and install the Kitaco rear sprocket followed by torquing down the four nuts once again. Refit the wheel to the swingarm and check the chain slack before tightening the rear axle. Not difficult to do. Cost performance and comparison with other products: Good costing as you are getting a rear sprocket made from a durable material and in a black finish that suits the Grom for a great price as compared to the next cheapest black rear sprocket from SP Takegawa which is almost double the price. About shipping and packaging: Sea frieght was my preferred method of shipping due to the lower cost but currently this service is unavailable from Japan Post, EMS is much faster which is nice. Webike kept me updated on the status of my order up to when it shipped. The parcel arrived within the expected date range and was well packaged with no chance of the part being damaged. I used it on my MONKEY125.
The Driven Sprocket of MONKEY125 is 34T, but I increased it by one while replacing it.
We are pleased with the change from the tasteless look of the OEM to the back-smoothed look.
The change in the number of teeth also improves hill climbing performance, albeit slightly.

I changed it at the same time as the Front, and instead of raising the Front by one gun, I lowered the Rear by one gun.

Kitaco 34T Rear Sprocket
My OEM sprocket was not worn out but I wanted to install a better quality chain on my Monkey 125 so thought it would be best to change the sprockets and chain all together. Kitaco offer a great range of different tooth sprockets but for now I stayed with the OEM 34T to keep speedometer accuracy but my change in the future to a 36T or 37T if I want a bit more go down low. It would be nice if Kitaco also offered there rear sprockets in silver as I would have preferred this over the black to match the OEM look but the black does match the carrier hub so that was the next best options for me. Great quality product and installation is as simple has removing the rear wheel. View detail
