Costa's 428Seal chain
[Usage]
Replaced by BRONCO Chain top number extension
【Motivation or reason for choosing or purchasing
When I put IRCTourist on BRONCO, it hit Swing Arm even if I stretched Chain as much as I could.
So I decided to increase the number of chain tops to cope with the problem, but when I looked for a chain, there were not many choices for 428 Size.
For me, from my history of using it. "Chain DID. I had decided to, but I chose this model that seems to be highly durable and hard to stretch because it is the main touring and riding the streets.
Non-seal also has the thought that Chain adjustment is troublesome.
For installation
I extended the 2 piece chain and it became the right length and the Tire didn't hit the Swing Arm.
However, I bought a CrimpType one instead of a Clip type one without checking well, so I asked a person who has a tool to work on it.
Crimping requires tools, so if you don't have them, it may be easier to ask a shop to do it for you.
[Fit & Feel]
Because it is a seal chain, it is natural that there is a sense of resistance when pushing the motorcycle more than when the Non-Seal Chain is installed, but when you actually run it, you will not feel it.
For me, that Merit is the Large threshold because it improves durability and makes it harder to stretch.
However, the durability is not known until it rides for a long time, so I did not evaluate it.

...how long do you think you're going to be on the move?
The detailed exchange distances are already a bit of a blur
Replaced along with the front and rear sprockets by 15,000 km, as I recall
And the current mileage is 32,000 miles
The plating is rust-free, and there's still some adjustment money to be made
It's not that it's not growing at all, but it's really not much of a lopsided growth
It's just the same number of pieces and sprockets as the OEM
Maybe it's because the plate is stronger and longer in length
At the time of installation, it was already one step before the Red of the guide Seal on the swing arm the reason is that ...
I guess the time to change is when you can't stretch it due to the limits of the adjustment Screw..
At the time of the exchange It's just an expensive purchase.. I thought
I really didn't expect it to last this long

It became quiet anyhow by the change from a pure Non-seal.Although it was a place where the Power loss by the Friction of a Seal is anxious with
smallness displacement volume since it is powerless, it is peace of mind especially satisfactorily. The sound of a Chain is recommended in
D-Tracker125 in the more dissatisfied one.It is numbers of times the size of
Chain-roller exchange.
