Genuine Kawasaki Meter Protector for Ninja ZX-10R 2024
So, this bike was in for a small check over and the owner wanted to get a protector for the screen. These do eventually get scratched so if you can stop that from happening in the first place, it's a good idea. Finding that Kawasaki actually make a genuine one for this bike was truly surprising. Anyway, finding the right one for this bike was straight forward by using the schematics for this model and year. Although the price is a little higher than some after market ones you could buy, why risk that when Kawasaki have put the time and effort into making one specifically for this model. No doubt, it will also be more hard wearing than after market ones too. Along with a couple of other smaller parts I needed, I got them al shipped using my preferred courier, EMS. They just get the orders delivered fast and with no hassle. In 5 days, my order arrived. The screen protector arrived in the Kawasaki packaging and was also kept nice and flat by Webike warehouse by adding a piece of cardboard. Very nice. The screen protector was very god quality and not as flimsy as I imagined it to be. It is a pretty tough addition. Easy to fit and does have a very slight tint to it. Very pleased with this and will be looking for genuine screen protectors in the future, especially if that happens to be a Kawasaki branded bike. Thanks Webike. View detail

It's a piece of cake as long as you position yourself carefully.
I couldn't get the non-OEM protective film to stick properly, so I bought this one and stuck it on.
I should have gone this way from the beginning.
Film is the kind you put on your phone and when you put it on the Meter, it releases air on its own to some extent.
It would be better if there were Included Parts:as good as Film for smartphones, since the product only has FilmBody.
For example.
First WetPaper
Next, Dry paper
Next, you can use adhesive Tape to flatten it.
Put a GuideFrame for easy positioning.
Stick it accordingly.
Wipe with synthetic fiber CROSS and crimp to peel off the protective film on the front surface.
For this price, I would like to see Included Parts:attached.
Since the film is MeterSize, if the film is slightly displaced, air will enter the displaced area and air will enter again immediately even if the film is OK when it is pressed. If you want to reapply the film, you have to peel off the entire film once.
If you don't want to do that, you have to put adhesive Tape on it and just float the part where the air enters and cut it off.
This product is already a piece of cake once you get the positioning right.
I think anyone can put it up.
The labor charge to have it affixed at Plaza is 1,430 yen. The total cost of the product is 4,334 yen.
Even High tension when purchasing a new car seems expensive to me.
But if you're like me and you're going to make a mistake by buying an external one, it's better to have them put it on from the beginning already.

Protection Seat is indispensable for the screen!
I thought it might be unnecessary since the ZX-6R has a Cowl (Screen) to protect the meter and not a touch panel. However, I thought it would be better to protect it just in case, so I had it installed as an option when I purchased the vehicle.
Is the film a little too small for the screen size?

Protective film to protect from scratches
The presence of the protective film is not felt very much and is effective in preventing Wound. Work SuKill is expensive, so I think it is better to leave it to PRO. View detail

Visibility remains the same.
Purchased for Meter panel protection, but not much different from Meter's poor visibility.
I asked Motorcycle shop to paste it because if I fail to paste it, it will cost me extra money from the beginning again.

It's a Repeat buy (laughs).
I was stingy with the labor charge and made a mistake, so I had to reapply it. I think you can paste it beautifully by spraying it with plenty of water containing neutral detergent with a mist, adjusting the position, and then removing water and air with a spatula, etc. This is the same way as car films and smartphone films. Please be careful when handling the film, as it can easily get creased. View detail

I guess OEMs are safe after all.
I bought a used car and it didn't have Film on it, so I initially bought a China-made one for less than half the price of the OEM one, thinking it would prevent Wound.
Quality seemed to be OK, but the hole that seems to be for the illuminance sensor is Quantity:Pair (for Left and Right) The application procedure was apparently reversed, and the result of the application was also worrisome, with air bubbles around the edge of the Meter.
I bought this OEM product, but I thought I would have to mist the film to align it and remove air bubbles, like a light-blocking film for a car, but instead I aligned it and removed air bubbles, like a protective film for a cell phone.
I cleaned and degreased the Meter beforehand, but there were still bubbles around the edges, probably because it wasn't a new car.
However, we still believe that it will not interfere with Meter visibility and will prevent Wound
If you are considering this type of Film, I still think the decision should be made on a new car.
