Z900rs 520 chain conversion 42, 43, 44 tooth?
My 3rd Sunstar sprocket. Stock 525 chain has 15 42 tooth gearing. Not happy with power delivery so tried 520 chain with15 43. Still needed a bit more in 3rd, so I installed 15 44. Now where talking. That is the stock gearing on its Z900 brother. I also installed the Z900 complete motor into my Z900RS with high compression heag gasket. With 130bhp and 44 tooth rear sprocket It is an absolutely wicked retro now :) View detail

The PMC emblem was attached, but the tank emblem and radiator guard are in large letters, so these were changed to large letters as well.

During the Carburetor setting, I discovered that the Reverse Side wire was out, and I ordered it in a hurry.
It is a broken Wire, but we were using Active's Wire.
The Active wire has an adjusting mechanism in the middle, but it is quite large, and in the case of the GPZ900R, it came right around the IGCoil, making it even more difficult to handle the wire than it would have been otherwise.
This wire has no extra mechanisms other than the Adjust at both ends, and is easy to handle.
The Throttle was extremely light after the replacement.
I ordered 900mm this time, but 1000mm seems to be better for Up Handle of GPZ900R.
I would like to make sure I am right next time.

It was a replacement for the Normal grip, but since the Normal was chica-chica due to deterioration, this one is more resilient and improves the numbness in the hand somewhat.
