being quick to run out of seal
GSX400OEM is 525 but Conversion.
I used this product for about 18,000 km and replaced it with the same one again.
Here are the impressions of those 18,000 km.
The Seal was found to have a slight tear at 15,000 km, and at the time of replacement at 18,000 km, there were several obvious tears as shown in the photo. The manufacturer says that the replacement distance is 1.5 to 20,000 km, so it may not be abnormal, but it is too early for the user's sensation. But if the Seal is weak, it may be meaningless.
One thing that comes to mind about Seal expiration is that
There were times when cleaning and lubrication was not done every 500 kilometers as specified by the Manufacturer, but about 1,000 kilometers. Even so, they are still done once a month.
Oil used to use did, but Cleaner used to use parts cleaner for Seal chain in addition to did.
These are the two points above, so after this replacement, I will clean and lubricate with only did products every 500 km. If the seal still runs out, I will stop using did. The reason why I decided to use did again this time is because I had bought Kashimaru-kun when I replaced it last time.

Seals are weak.
GSX400 is 525 but 520Conversion.
There is almost no initial elongation, and after 15,000 km, there is no need to adjust the tension. While cleaning the other day, I found one broken seal! The recommended replacement distance by DID is 15,000 to 20,000 km, so I guess it is not abnormal, but it is a little early. I'm sorry to say that it's a little early to replace the DID, but it's a little too early to replace.

First exchange to DIDChain!
First DIDChain!
I thought it would be Gold, and I thought it would be gaudy, but it was just right!

Personally, I DID choose Chain.
I have tried various Chains, but I personally think that DID is durable and reasonably priced. The gold coloring is also beautiful. View detail
zvx to vx in anticipation of lighter weight
It is lighter than zvx by about 200g in the same piece count comparison. a top ranking was dropped because it says it can hold up to 800cc, but I expect it to be less durable because of the ChainConversion process.
I can feel the lightness of running more than before, and it's a good use first.
I changed the Rear Sprocket to Steel because I thought it would extend the life of the Rear Sprocket faster, so next time I should just replace the Chain. It depends on the situation.
