Super Silver Chain from RK Takasago Chain
* About quality and texture, The silver finish on the chain links looks outstanding especially next to the other silver highlighted parts on the Grom and the nickel silver plating process gives it a lasting shine, while the hard steel pins, solid bushings and rollers ensrue a smooth operation. * About the feeling of use, Would have to be the best looking RK chain I have used on the Grom to date, the previous standard series chain was cheaper in price but was unimpressive to look at when compared to the finish of this chain. * Products to buy together, A drive and driven sprocket, always advisable to replace these 3 parts together. I can recommend the Kitaco 420 pitch sprockets as that is what I have has had success using. * Difficulty of installation, For removal of just the chain there will be enough slack in the chain to remove the joining clip and old chain but installation will also require removal of the front sprocket cover and a chain adjusted once the new joining clip is secured. The process was completed in 20 minutes with no difficultly. * Cost performance and comparison with other products, There are many chain options for the Grom but for a non-sealed 420 pitch chain that look this outstanding fitted against the black swingarm, there is no competition with the pricing of this RK chain. * About shipping and packaging, I am happy to wait 6 weeks on average for my parts to arrive in Sydney Australia via Webike's sea freight which comes with tracking and insurance so I know I'm covered in case something was to go wrong but with there outstanding bubble wrapping and boxing there have been no problems. * Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing, You may prefer a sealed chain and consider it a better option but for a motorcycle with a small capacity engine I prefer to not lose any power due to the frication created by the O-rings. Chain exchange of KSR2
Chain was replaced because the Chain was stretched and there was no more room for adjustment.
The previous owner had set the front sprocket to the Highest Speed Oriented, so we changed it back to OEM (15) to emphasize acceleration.
Therefore, this time Chain purchased LINK108, which is the same as OEM.
I have considered other Chains, but there is no choice of LINK, say 108, and I have to cut 110 LINKs.
I purchased RK's Chain for this reason.
Since it is a Non-seal Chain, we are not that nervous about its longevity.
If the carpet is stretched, it is necessary to re-stretch it frequently.
If you are not comfortable with frequent adjustment, we recommend the Seal chain, although it is more expensive.
Unfortunately, the last time I bought RK's 110LINK of the same brand, it was bundled with RK's Sticker, but not this time! 。 It's a bit of a shame.

KSR80 Chain replacement
This time, I changed the wheel of KSR80 to KSR1 So I changed the chain as well as the sprocket.
After examining the price etc. while considering Enuma etc. and other manufacturers, I selected this MAJOR product.
I bought the 110LINK instead of the OEM 108LINK because the previous owner said he was increasing the number of knives on the previous Sprocket. I did.
As a result, it was a little long, but there was no problem to adjust.
Chain which had become dirty by Grease is cleaned up, and it is refreshing.
Durability is still to come

Trusted Chain.
The mileage of C125 reached 20,000km and the noise from the chain was severe, so I adjusted it, but the noise did not disappear, so I bought this product for life.
As a result, the abnormal noise is gone and the ride is smooth without loss. Now I can ride with confidence because the manufacturer is reliable.
I can recommend this product.

For commuting motorcycles.
【good point】
RK's consistent quality.
[Bad point]
None in particular
[Summary]
I used it for my commuter motorcycle CUB because of its cost effectiveness.
It's non-seal and needs frequent maintenance, but it has worked fine for a year.
