【YOSHIMURA】Camshaft [ST-1] Review
ST-1 highest
The last impression was a controversial evaluation
This time, I tried increasing the fuel with the power commander
Surprisingly the acceleration in the second half was sharp and I felt dangerous
After all, the fire is Large thing
Even if you increase the fuel, the thinness of the Torque during low rotation did not change
Even considering that, it will be a fun Engine.
When you express yourself
Image like Normal engine slowly flowing down the road like cattle riding
High CamshaftEngine looks like a horse riding highway like Image
Is not it?
Together with the Silencer of the SCP Project, it is Engine that I want to turn

More power
This cam came well packaged and shipped quickly. It makes noticeable power gains over my old bbr cam, installed on a 2004 crf100f with 120 bbr kit. View detail
Yoshi ST-1 cam XR100R
I added this camshaft to my modified 2000 XR100. Big gain!!! Noticible power increse!! Also it revs higher!! The cam fit perfect. Fits stock cam journal, and it fit my aftermarket journal. Engine mods as follows: FmF pipe, ATC200 Carb, 120CC piston, Shift up Head, Shift up oil shower journal,Yoshi cam. I like riding this Modified XR100 more than large cc bikes. Pure fun. It came in a box and a sticker was included. Sweet View detail
The final form of custom motorcycle
What made you decide to buy? I've done a lot of engine customization on the Ninja250sl, including a 4 cylinder engine is because I decided to install the standard High Camshaft
How was your experience with it? Bore up?Torque fully and wonderfully fun in all areas at high camshaft Motorcycle is ready I'm glad I didn't get terribly bad gas mileage
Was it difficult to install? (In the case of hard parts) it is a high camshaft for klx and dTRACKER, so it is not attached by pompoms It was First of all, you need a Camshaft Sprocket (from klx), not the one for sl It was
And the Valve timing doesn't match slightly either, so I added a single piece of advance and delay angle The Engine took a slow angle (my memory is a little fuzzy), but the high compression I had put on it Spec. Bore up piston makes contact with the Piston and Valve by a millimeter or two, and then the piston and the Valve are in contact with each other So I thought about how to make the CylinderBase Gasket thicker (because of the Base) Then I thought about how to make the CylinderBase Gasket thicker (because it is Base Isn't it durable enough to be thicker since it doesn't take high compression? (I thought it was a good idea to make the cylinder head (Valve) thicker By making it thicker, the cylinder head (valve) and the piston can be made clearer to make the (The compression ratio is theoretically lower, but I didn't feel it) Base gasket sheet I buy it and cut it to match the OEM one, which is 1mm thick Then, apply liquid Gasket and sandwich both the 1mm thick and OEM Base Gasket between the When I put it together, the head went up, the timings fit tightly and the percussion sound is I drove about 15,000 km, but I was able to get it back to its original condition There was no blotting, etc
What is the point or hang of installation (for hard parts)? I think it's safe to follow Yoshimura's suggestion for valve clearance It is If you keep it wide and Tappet sound is bothering you, I think you should try making it narrower
[Was there anything that disappointed you? The accuracy of the Camshaft itself was high, and the surface treatment was good because there were no irregularities
Do you have any wishes or improvements you would like to make for the Manufacturer? If there was a Camshaft for sl, it might have been sold
[Do you have any products to compare it to? I was torn between BEET's and the BEET's, but the BEET's are of the high rotation type and the YOSHIMURA's are more I saw a blog that said something about being in balance, and that was the deciding factor

Very satisfied
I had these Yoshimura cams installed in my GSX 1400 '06 4 years back and it's now time to control and readjust shims. Installation needs a little adjustment on the cam holders due to the extra lift, but it's nothing serious. Can highly recommend this upgrade! View detail
Also, I wish 500 to 1,000 rpm
Embedding was not as difficult as I thought.
I think it would be better to have Camshaft Sprocket and CamSprocketBolt ready. (Also, Vise pliers of Large eyes)
It is a slow Torque that you care about, but I say it clearly.
Bring my 1400 to 10 FACTORY and get it ECUTune back to the axle Large 13. There was 1 kgf-m. (NORMALCatalogue number 12. 8kgf-m)
At the time of low speed of Normal cam, I made a very dangerous and dangerous acceleration, but after Cam exchange, I feel fast to Smooth.
If you compare it to an animal, for example, you feel Sara Brett who was trained from a wild rampage horse (^_^;)
It may be because it is light because the fire setting is Normal cam setting
I have human ability, so I will get used to it ...
