Power up with AS Uotani
[How is it used?
AS Uotani was installed to strengthen the electrical system of YAMAHA XJR400R.
As AS Uotani's Manufacturer, we recommend the use of NGK Iridium Plug and Power cable together, so we recommend the use of NGK Iridium Plug and Power cable together.
We decided to install NGK Iridium Plug and Power cable in addition to AS Uotani.
Was the one you received as per Image?
It was just as Image.
Since there are four cylinders, a total of four bottles are required.
The price is about 1.5 times that of NORMAL, but the quality is quite good.
Was the installation difficult?
Installation is easy, as it is the same as for a regular Plug.
Gap was adjusted from 0.8mm to 1.1mm for use with AS Uotani.
How was your experience with it?
Power has increased dramatically, partly due to the use of AS Uotani and NGKPower cables together.

Wonderful
I replaced the Plug for winter maintenance. The results are fantastic! First of all, it does not vary compared to IdlingOEM. The starting performance when cold is improved. The engine used to stall if the Axel was not opened when starting cold engine, but it does not stall. Even when cold in winter, the engine can be started without pulling the chalk. However, I am not sure about the power improvement and rideability, but I am very satisfied with the startability and idling stability. I have been using OEM plugs until now, but Repeat is a sure thing. 12R is fuel condition controlled to eliminate the thumping, but it is thin around the idle rpm, and then it becomes thick.
After replacing the plug, the fuel mixture was thinned slightly, but it is good for city driving.
The high performance plugs are very appreciated since it is a hassle to change plugs for the 12R.

Smooth as always
Cheaper than the price here. No need to worry about counterfeit goods. The original spark plugs were replaced with Iridium models. As a result, the motor is easy to start in the morning and runs more smoothly. Thank you. View detail
To be honest, I am not sure how effective it is.
Idling had become unstable and starting was getting worse, so I did not think the plug was bad, but just to be safe, I replaced it with an OEM plug. I could have done it myself if I wanted to, but the R1's forward leaning engine is very difficult to change plugs, so I left it to the store.
I had faint hopes that all the malfunctions would be cured, but I did not notice any change. However, it is more durable than the OEM plug, so the next replacement is likely to be in the near future. I am glad that I was able to extend the replacement cycle.

I also tried using DENSO, but eventually came back to NGK.
I feel that NGK is less likely to rust than DENSO when used under the same conditions.
I don't think the durability of the product will change from large to small, but it is a consumable product, so it will last for a certain period of time and distance.
I have replaced them regardless of their condition.
I have never had a problem with Trouble with this Plug, so I would recommend it.
