YAMAHA XJR400 Specification

It was the YAMAHA 400 naked model that mounted the newly designed 14-degrees forwardly inclined air-cooled 4-valve DOHC FOUR engine with an oil cooler. It also had the newly designed high-tension steel pipe double cradle frame. Its intake system adopted a Φ 30mm carburetor with TPS, and the exhaust system had a 4-2-1 exhaust with a chamber whose second and third pipes were linked. The ignition adopted the map controling system.
