SBS Friction A/S is a Danish based company that develops, produces

and markets brake pads and friction solutions for motorcycles, scooters,

ATV/UTVs, special cars and industrial applications including wind

turbines.

Further, our product range includes other brake components such as

brake discs, brake shoes and accessory parts such as brake pins.

Our history goes back to 1964. In the 1970s we were the first to introduce

aftermarket disc brake pads for motorcycles. Since then we have

continuously expanded our range, and our market coverage is almost

complete no matter make, model or year. We are first with the newest and

last with the oldest.

We are number one 1 in the European aftermarket for motorcycle

brake pads, and all over the globe the SBS name is known for braking

excellence. Totally, our distribution network is spread to around 50

countries around the world including USA, Canada, Japan, Australia

and the European Union.

Our customer portfolio comprises motorcycle industry OEMs such as

brake system and vehicle manufacturers, and due to our friction know

how other industries such as wind turbines manufacturers.

Our headquarters, R&D, production and sales are located in Svendborg,

Denmark. Our production plant features around 12,000 sqm with production

lines for ceramic, sintered and carbon material components.

We employ around 200 people and our turnover has increased steadily

since we introduced our first brake pad.
